Ticket Operations Specialist


Coastal Carolina University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Sun Belt Conference is accepting applications for position of Ticket Operations Specialist.


Duties include, but are not limited to:  perform duties associated with daily function of Athletic Ticket Office to include, but not limited to; customer service related to ticket sales and ticketed athletic events to all constituents; process ticket sales utilizing ticketing software, collect appropriate funds for ticket sales, printing and distribution of tickets to customers by mail and/or will call pickup; per university guidelines and policies, manage daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of ticket sales regarding cash and/or checks received, credit cards and Chanticleer Athletic Foundation donations as applicable; assist with training and supervision of individuals needed to manage box office hours on daily basis and for various athletic ticketed events as needed; coordinate and prepare various pass lists used by the sports programs; Provide weekly season and single game ticket sales reports to designated individuals as directed; perform duties with providing oversight of ticket operations and ticket allocations for all ticketed sports and applicable postseason and special events and perform duties associated with management and function of the Athletic Ticket Office during regular business hours; Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm; assist Director of Ticket Operation and Athletic Business Office with reconciliation of daily athletic event and season ticket sale ensuring proper allocation of revenue generated funds in addition to balancing internal ticket reporting to university general ledger revenue accounts as applicable within university and athletic department guidelines; cross-train to serve as back up to the Director of Ticket Operations in operating the ticketing software system; provide administrative assistance as requested to include assisting with the development and distribution of correspondence, brochures, renewal documents, etc. for current and past ticket holders; maintain sufficient office supplies for the Athletic Ticket Office and maintaining Ticket Office document filing system; ensure the proper application of all NCAA tickets rules and regulations and complete documentation for annual audits; and perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, Deputy Director of Athletics or designee.


Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and experience with ticketing system platforms are required.
