Beautiful Brookgreen Gardens is searching for a Greenhouse Assistant to join our team. Brookgreen Gardens is a national historic landmark in the heart of South Carolina’s lowcountry that exceptionally blends four mission areas in botanical gardens, art, history and the environment.

Duties include assisting the Greenhouse & Nursery Supervisor with all aspects of plant propagation, maintenance, pest management and recordkeeping for both the greenhouse and nursery. Must be able to work with volunteers and assist in their weekly tasks. Additional duties include assisting in our biannual plant sale and some public events. This position requires bending, occasional heavy lifting and adaptability to seasonal weather.

At least 2-years of greenhouse/nursery work experience, education or Master Gardener certification preferred. Related work history and knowledge will also be considered.
