Account Executive

Job Discription:

Sales and Marketing of our print, digital and contest products, to include display ads in all newspapers: The Myrtle Beach Herald, The Horry Independent, Carolina Forest Chronicle, Loris Scene, North Strand News, Horry News & Shopper, and VISIT! as well as promotion of seasonal publications, digital campaigns and contests, and special sections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly prospect through direct visits, email, phone, and social media, and set targets.
• Conceptualize and manage the creation of strategic print and digital marketing materials, from brainstorming with the client, through design and editorial review, to print and/or digital distribution.
• Write up sales proposals for new and existing leads.
• Manage sales through CRM software system
• Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Making cold calls.
• Networking through local Networking groups.
• Prospecting for new customers.
• Building relationships and servicing advertisers in assigned territory.
• Traveling in the designated territory
• Help identify distribution business locations for any of our core or seasonal products.
• Work Events & Festivals when needed.
