Job details:

Must have proven forklift experience.
As you know, this is not a warehouse-type job, so although we require a forklift, it’s a manufacturing plant, and other duties related to that type of work occur (not just moving boxes like most warehouse jobs). Make sure they understand the difference here versus a general warehouse job.
Must be able to work rotating 12-hour work schedule to include nights and weekends.
Need eager, energetic people who want a great, stable opportunity.
Must have a great attendance history and be reliable.
Attendance in Prespool has been poor, lots of misc issues & excuses. Randy needs reliable people.
Must have reliable transportation.
They must be committed to wearing PPE at all times! Every day, we see some (sometimes the same ones) without a face shield, glasses, or earplugs.
Metglas has a huge safety commitment to Corporate to change (improve) our safety culture, and we need our employees and people to be committed as well.
Industry experience is a plus.
Ability to learn and use a touchscreen computer screen daily throughout the day.

Salary: Temp pay to them is $15/hour. If hired, they go to $15.54, then $16.32 after 6 months, then $17.95 after 1 year. They need to know the pay scale, how it works, and that other departments and jobs are paid at a higher pay rate. They will hear this from others as early as Day 1. They need to be okay with this now and in the future if hired. Also, if they are iffy on Prespool pay or how pay here works, probably not a fit.

Hours: Swing Shift 2 weeks 7am to 7pm and 2 weeks 7pm to 7am Full Time Perm.

Rate: $15 and upon hire will offer incremental increases based on performance and position. Excellent Benefits upon hire.
