POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Chief People Officer serves on the CEO’s senior leadership team and will work with the leadership team to set a strategy and develop a people services agenda that supports and aligns with the organization’s business goals. The Chief People Officer is responsible for a full range of people responsibilities, including the development and implementation of talent management/human resources policies, plans, and services. This includes recruitment, selection, legal compliance, employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, employment practices and procedures ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The Chief People Officer will also position the Y as a community convener and collaborator to address critical social issues.
