SUMMARY OF POSITION

An enthusiastic, creative and dependable Marketing Coordinator to collaborate with the Partnership Grand Strand (PGS) team in the development and execution of foundation initiatives. Your work will include expanding the brand awareness through website management, graphic design, social media management, podcast execution and strategic planning.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the design creation of marketing materials as assigned by the PGS team- signage, newsletters, website and social medial content.
  • Assist in the creation and content for the PGS website
  • Complete management of the PGS podcast. (Recording, editing, media kit)
  • Assist in the planning, execution and staffing of PGS events
  • Support administrative support to management as needed
  • Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team
  • Other duties as assigned as deemed necessary to support Partnership Grand

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or a recent college graduate from an accredited college university studying sales, marketing, or communications.
  • Experienced computer skills in graphic design software.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Attendance and Dependability: The employee can be depended on to report to work at the scheduled time and is seldom absent from work. Employee can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious, about assignments.
  • Relationships with Others: The employee works effectively and relates well with others, including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Chamber. The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works, to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all employee, including responses to electronic communications
  • Self-motivated, high energy, and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT

  • Frequent periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer using eye-hand coordination.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
